Time always goes by lightning fast. I haven't posted anything in last 2 months. Here are couple new designs that have been published.
Lottie Top
It has been published in Crochetscene 2014. It is an brand new issue from Interweave.

It has been published in Interweave Knits Holiday Gifts 2014. For this design, I used a new technique   -- Finger Weaving. I also did a tutorial in an article which also has been published in the same issue.

New publications in last two month

I haven't update my blog for long time. You know, social media is quite a bit of work. Here I will put together some publications in last two months.

Botanic Pullover was published in knit.wear spring/summer 2014. I enjoyed to work with this yarn a lot. Lornas laces honor

Gambeson Tunic was published in Knitscene Summer 2014. Yarn: Handmaiden, fine yarn, lino Love the fabric. Just a little bit dusty when I was winding it.

Following is my original piece.

Isotopy Mitts was published in Knitscene Accessories 2014. Yarn: Brown sheep, wildfoote, luxury sock yarn  This yarn give a great texture but little bit itchy.

Sundance Dress was published in Interweave Crochet Summer 2014. Yarn: Noro, taiyo lace Good yarn choice for summer.

I will try to keep posting the works I have done. Thank you for reading!

TNNA 2014 Indianapolis Trade Show

What a great experience for me to join the TNNA and attend the 2014 trade show in Indianapolis. Thank you my dear friend Michele!

That was great 2 days to meet people who are experts on all kinds of fields, got to touch all the yarns, tools and beautiful garments. I was in heaven.

I also got a great big surprise. My design Sun dance dress was showing on the T- stage. I hadn't know that and hadn't read the program until I saw she was coming out with my dress. "THAT IS MINE!" Yes! that was the words I yelled after I saw it. I didn't prepare for that. Look how bad the picture I took. :( I hope I can get some better pics from somewhere else.

Here are some other beautiful designs. The pics that I took are all better than my own design.

Triangle Yarn Crawl

I had been invited to DownTown Knits to join the 2 days Triangle Yarn Crawl last weekend. That was my first trunk show and It was really fun to meet people to introduce my designs. Being a designer, the most happiest thing is people like my designs.
I learned what designs people like the most and what level of techniques people accept the most.
I had such a good time there! Thank you Michele!

I planed to take some pictures while the crowd was there, but it was too busy for me to do that. These pictures are taken before and after the trunk show.

The Newest Published Designs

Haven't updated my blog for a while. I feel a little lazy to do everything but knitting and crocheting. Lots of design ideas flashed into my mind and I just want to be a spider woman to make all the good ideas come true.

Here are two resent published designs.
The first one is published in Interweave Crochet Spring 2014 -- Betty Sweater
When you make this one, the most important thing you need to pay attention to is the joins. I designed this to be an invisible join. Can you tell the lower body is worked in rows then connected together at the center of the back?
For more information you can go to Interweave Crochet website:
http://www.interweavestore.com/interweave-crochet-spring-2014-grouped

The second one is published in Knit.wear Spring/Summer 2014 -- Botanic Pullover
I wanted to make this one look a little casual, sexy, drippy, and have a spring feeling. When you make it, using the provisional CO is important. Actually, you can decide which side you feel comfortable to be the front and which side is back. You can wear it either way.
BTW:My closest friend Bonnie Nurnberger's design V Line Tee has also been published in the same issue. So happy for her.

You can go to Ravelry to see all of my designs and projects.

A New Exciting Year Ahead

Lots of plans for this new year.

I started to teach my Beginning Tunisian Crochet class. That was really fun. When Ladies can make a dish cloth in an hour, they got so excited, too.
I am enjoy to help people and tell them all what I have known.

For my class I designed this lovely fingerless mitts.

The pattern now is available in my Ravelry store:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sweet-waffle-fingerless-mitts
and also in my Etsy shop

BTW: If you are not a Tunisian Crocheter and you like those mitts, you can find the physical mitts for sale in my Etsy shop, as well.

Keep myself busy! Gonna go back and working on my PHD (project half done).
