Triangle Yarn Crawl

I had been invited to DownTown Knits to join the 2 days Triangle Yarn Crawl last weekend. That was my first trunk show and It was really fun to meet people to introduce my designs. Being a designer, the most happiest thing is people like my designs.
I learned what designs people like the most and what level of techniques people accept the most.
I had such a good time there! Thank you Michele!

I planed to take some pictures while the crowd was there, but it was too busy for me to do that. These pictures are taken before and after the trunk show.

The Newest Published Designs

Haven't updated my blog for a while. I feel a little lazy to do everything but knitting and crocheting. Lots of design ideas flashed into my mind and I just want to be a spider woman to make all the good ideas come true.

Here are two resent published designs.
The first one is published in Interweave Crochet Spring 2014 -- Betty Sweater
When you make this one, the most important thing you need to pay attention to is the joins. I designed this to be an invisible join. Can you tell the lower body is worked in rows then connected together at the center of the back?
For more information you can go to Interweave Crochet website:

The second one is published in Knit.wear Spring/Summer 2014 -- Botanic Pullover
I wanted to make this one look a little casual, sexy, drippy, and have a spring feeling. When you make it, using the provisional CO is important. Actually, you can decide which side you feel comfortable to be the front and which side is back. You can wear it either way.
BTW:My closest friend Bonnie Nurnberger's design V Line Tee has also been published in the same issue. So happy for her.
